Introducing the Hi/Lo Sunflower Mix. An EXCLUSIVE Wildroots Farm mix of the most stunning array of colored sunflowers ranging in heights from 3ft to 7 ft. Planted together they make the most stunning wall of color in all sizes. You'll have sunflowers popping up at every height and in between to create a perfect photo backdrop or just a perfect hedge of sunflowers.
 
Colors range from classic yellow, fire orange, deep crimson, to a pale pastel yellow and more.
 
This mix was hand picked and mixed by us to offer you the widest range of color and size. Each pack will be different with no guarantee you will get every color. But we try our best!
 
Quantity: 50 seeds
 
Can be sown indoors 2-3 weeks before planting outdoors. Transplant when there are 4 leaves.
Expect germination in 5-10 days
They are best sown outdoors after last frost, but remember animals WILL eat the seeds if they can get to them
When sowing seed outdoors, we recommend a planting depth of 1 inch
Spacing: Plant 2 to 4 inches apart in full sun. They will be 3ft to 7ft tall at maturity
Soil: Very tolerant of drought and poor soils
Temperature: Grown best between 75 to 90 degree days 
Water: Water everyday until sprout is 1 foot tall, then move to watering every other day. once fully established, watering once or twice a week in temps 70 -80 is ok. In temps hotter, water every other day. Sunflowers will do fine with minimal water but NOT soggy soil. 

ALL our seeds are grown, loved and harvested directly on our Farm! Because we are a small farm with limited room, we do grow LOTS of varieties of sunflowers which increases the risk of cross pollination. Due to this, the seeds you grow may come up a slight different color or size than expected.
We do our very very best to remove all extra matter( leaves, petals, etc..) but being they are untreated, unwashed, and harvested by hands there may be a couple tag along pieces. But its OK, just extra compost for your garden bed!!
