How to care for your Loofah
Your loofah will soften once wet. Be sure your  loofah can sit in a place with proper air flow. Letting your loofah dry after each use is key to keeping things nice and clean. Once you have finished with the loofah, simply toss it in the compost or into the garden to break down. We recommend hanging it to dry completely after each use. 
 
What is a Loofah?
Sometimes called luffa or loofa, it is a vegetable mainly grown for its fibrous inside. Young fruits can be eaten as squash, used in soups or even used in place of cucumbers. The loofah gourd plant is climbing vine. When the fruit section of the plant matures and drys it can be used as an organic bath or kitchen sponge.
 
We grow, harvest, dry and cut our loofahs rigth here on the farm. We pride ourselves on our organic farming practices with zero use of any pesticides or herbicides. Our loofahs have also never been treated in bleach.

**Please use and dispose of your loofah in a timely fashion to avoid growth of unwanted germs. Completely drying between each use is highly recommended. Wildroots Farm LLC will not be heald liable for misuse or bad judgement using these products. 
 
CAUTION: Do not ingest. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs. Please use your best judgement when using this product.

    Contact us within 2 days of delivery if product arrives damaged.

    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can not accept returns for:

    • Custom or personalized orders
    • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
    • Digital downloads

    Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

  • SHIPPING INFO

    Most items will ship USPS ground with a tracking number that will be provided on shipping day.

    Occasionally items will ship with a differnt carrier to save on cost.

    All shipping overages will be refunded immediatley
